The Monkeywrench

The Monkeywrench are a part time supergroup featuring Mark Arm & Steve Turner of legendary Seattle outifit, Mudhoney, Tim Kerr (Big Boys, Poison 13), Tom Price (Gas Huffer, U-Men) and Australia’s Martin Bland (Lubricated Goat).

Since forming in 1991 and born out of Mark & Steve’s admiration for Tim’s earlier work, The Monkeywrench have released 3 studio albums on legendary Seattle label Sub Pop and occasionally tour whilst its members’ other bands have been on hiatus.

Supposedly disbanding in 2002, the band reformed in 2016 to perform at All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival in the U.K and Sound on Sound Festival (named after a Tim Kerr song) in Texas . Later that year the band made its long awaited, one and only Australian tour, selling out small clubs around Australia as well as headlining Geelong’s River Rocks Festival.
